The Ultimate Random Things Website !!!!!
Quicktips
Week One:
First Topic: Team Games

1. ALWAYS go for the objectives when you have the chance

2. Don't blindly rush in to capture the objective, dieing wont help your team much

3. Communication is the key, mikes can help a lot

4. If you have the lead but are starting to lose, try going on the defence and waiting it out

5. By team games, I don't mean team deathmatch or SnD, kills are not your priority here

6. Usually, winning the game or capturing objectives awards more points than kills, so even if you have a shitty KDR but was the strongest objective runner, then your team will love you

7. Knowing your playing style or position helps for everything. Are you the decoy? The rusher? Do you use stealth instead? Or do you charge with your team and force your way to the objective? Are you a defensive player, or are you the slayer?

8. Don't take all the hate to heart. If you feel you are strongest as a tuber, a knifer, or as a camper, then do that. Don't change your playing style just because of what others say

9. Have more than one class handy. Having both attacking and defencive classes help a lot when switching sides

10. If you feel like your team is having a hard time breaking through the enemy's defensive line, go all the way around (there is usually more than 2 routes to an objective) the map and flank them. Either suprise them by capturing the objective from behind them or get rid of the enemy force from behind them, letting your team charge through. Chances are that you have at least 5 seconds to get rid of the whole team before the enemy notices you.

11. If you feel a player on your team is slacking, encourage them. Getting into arguments result in you or that player getting type-killed but encouraging them to do better could boost their self-esteem

12. Sniper rifles or LMGs are good for supporting your team (defence, slayer, etc, etc), but SMGs are better for rushing/stealth. Assault rifles are pretty flexible, I guess it could depend on what you're using.

Week Two

Second Topic: Knowing the Lingo

I'm sure for some of you out there, you are confused about some of the terms used in-game. This week, I hope I can help you with your problem.

1. QS (quickscope) = When using a sniper rifle (preferably the Barret .50cal or the Intervention) aim in quickly through your scope and kill someone with a single shot without holding your breath

2. HS (hardscope) = Same as a quickscope except when you aim in, hold your breath for a short period of time before firing

3. Noscope = Kill an enemy with a sniper rifle by firing from the hip (not aiming down sights)

4. Noob = New player / Crappy player / Player using an unfavourable weapon, perk, etc, etc (such as grenade launchers, commando, campers, G18s, amongst other things)

5. Dropshot = Quickly go prone and kill an enemy with any weapon (dropping down so as to "dodge" the bullets flying towards your head

6. Collateral = Get 2+ kills with a single sniper rifle bullet

7. QQ = Cry more (used to address complaints in an insulting way. Used a lot by immature players)

8. Modded Lobby = A game that is modified to give additional features or a hacked lobby that unlocks challenges or gets you to 10th prestige, etc

9. Spray = Used to adress players that do not seem to be aiming but rather spraying bullets everywhere and hoping to get a kill

10. Trickshot = There are too many types of trickshots to name ;) However, they all involve sniper rifles (usually the intervention) and some involve the use of throwing knives. I also believe that 180s, 360s, 540s, 720s, etc are also trickshots but thats just my opinion

I know there are many other terms used in-game, but these are the only ones that come to mind as of now. I hoped this helped!
